Today we are going to talk about the loveliest venues for a city wedding. Having a
wedding in the city (Denver or any other) means having a wedding in the heart of art, activity,
culture, and convenience. When it comes to Colorado, towns across the state, like Boulder and
Golden, have thriving main streets with plenty of venues to choose from. But for a “big city”
atmosphere, nowhere in Colorado compares to Denver. It offers some of the best art galleries,
music venues, and restaurants in the Rockies. Perfectly combining adventure and convenience.
Denver is known for its diverse culture and laid back style. So today, we are going to delve into
our favorite venues located in the city of Denver.
Blanc is one of our favorite urban venues in Denver. It’s a beautiful industrial style venue
surrounded by a beautiful courtyard. It’s located in the heart of downtown in Denver’s
RiNo district. In our opinion, it’s the perfect blend of modern and industrial design. The
venue is really versatile and you can truly customize the space to showcase your unique
style. The inside of the venue is a large gallery with exposed brick walls and plenty of
natural light. Our favorite thing about Blanc is the courtyard that features apple trees,
lush grape vines, and a comfy patio. We loved working there for a styled shoot and can’t
wait to work in this gorgeous and adaptable space again.
The Vibe: Modern, Innovative, Urban, Fresh & Contemporary
Asterisk is the perfect spacious downtown venue. It’s the ideal space for adventure-
loving couples that want a gorgeous city view and an authentically Denver experience.
It’s located in the heart of downtown within walking distance to Union Station and Coors
field. It features a large ballroom style space and an accompanying rooftop patio. The
building itself is from the 1920’s but the interior has been renovated to suit modern
couples. Our favorite feature at Asterisk is without a doubt the rooftop patio. It’s the
perfect place for an unforgettable cocktail hour.
The vibe: Modern, Versatile, Historic, Unique
3. The Ramble
We love The Ramble! This 50 room boutique hotel is located in Denver’s River North Art
District. It’s an early 20th-century– inspired warehouse filled with chandeliers and velvet
couches. We can’t talk about The Ramble without gushing over its design aesthetic, it’s
opulence, and maximalism. The entire hotel features a rich design in a contemporary Art
Deco style which feels upscale yet full of character. Grand yet intimate. The Ramble has
a variety of different spaces within the hotel for hosting your event. If you are looking for
something small and intimate the Vauxhall event space is perfect for a wedding with 70
guests. The Garden, and outdoor garden and patio space, can accommodate up to 96
guests. It’s the perfect setting for modern couples looking for a boutique wedding
The Vibe: Intimate, Swanky, Chic, Contemporary, Timeless, Polished
4. Moss Denver
Perfect for city lovers. Moss is a historic warehouse that was revived and turned into a
modern and adaptable venue with an industrial contemporary design. It features two
different event spaces, the Chandelier room and the Edison room. The Chandelier room
is decorated with various chandeliers while the Edison room features market lights and
glass ceilings. Couples love Moss because it offers a romantic feel in an urban space.
Our favorite feature is the giant moss wall because it is simply fantastic and a truly
unique design element. If you are looking for a versatile venue that requires minimum
decor, this is the venue for you.
Vibe: Industrial, Whimsical, Modern, Romantic
5. Mile High Station
Mile High Station offers couples a variety of options. Whether you are looking for a
venue for 100 guests or 500, Mile High Station can accommodate your needs. Mile High
Station offers a variety of ceremony and reception spaces to choose from and has a truly
unique style. At this venue you will find a perfect blend of modern design and dramatic
industrial aesthetics inside a historic warehouse. It’s definitely one of the most original
venues in the city of Denver. We love this venue for its unique design and ability to
accommodate large events. Couples love it because it requires minimum decor and has
a large patio perfectly suited for summer cocktail hours. It’s located downtown
approximately two miles from Civic Center Park.
