We are a full-service modern planning and design team with a passion for creating unique and personalized weddings for adventurous people. Transforming empty lots of land and bare bones venues with attention to detail and magnificent style. Don’t be fooled we can rock a hotel ballroom, downtown mansion, and an empty barn too.
Principal Planner & Designer
Natasha’s love of organization and parties go hand in hand, and provides a fitting foundation for a career in wedding and event planning. After all, as a child she would re-wrap toys just so she could unwrap them and experience that magic again and again. Planning an event for others gives her that same excitement.
She loves getting things done, witnessing a plan come together, and bringing joy to others. Her initial exposure to the service and hospitality industry came when she managed a large high-end beauty salon, and soon found that overseeing and interacting with her clients and the team was a calling more than a job. She also planned a family member’s wedding, and then a friend’s, and another’s… And when engaged customers came in for appointments and asked her for advice on their weddings, a career as an event planner was cemented.
Natasha oversees all aspects of Sugar Willow Events, from everyday logistics to her personalized designs that emphasize ambiance. She loves focusing on her clients and building and maintaining relationships with them and creative partners within the wedding industry. When she’s not dreaming up weddings, she loves live music, working on interior design projects, spending time with family, visiting museums and galleries (she majored in art history), and supporting animal rescue causes.
Fave part of a wedding: Parent dances—whether choreographed, simple, or awkward!
Design style: Vintage contemporary.
Fun fact: She’s not afraid to rock a sequined pant.
With a background in business and psychology, Lyanne not only brings
professionalism to all that she does, but also an understanding and balance. Those who know her best describe her as determined, sharp, and optimistic. She’s drawn to the visual nature of event design, and creating events where people really come together.
Like Natasha, she’s inspired by travel and has lived in England and has also enjoyed time in Mexico, France, Canada, and Spain. When she’s not working on weddings, she’s planning her next trip, taking her Shih Tzu for hikes, or in a ballet class. She drinks way too much coffee and makes no apologies for it.
Fave part of a wedding: The first dance, when everything sort of slows down for a few minutes, the song is meaningful, and the guests feel all the love these two people have for each other.
Design style: Classic with a touch of modern.
Fun fact: She’ll always remind you to grab a coffee before a long drive, and thenprovide ample conversation (or terrible singing) once you’re on the road.
Cassi’s love for weddings and eye for design began when she started working as a bridal stylist, helping countless brides find their dresses at a Denver boutique. While in college, Cassi also earned a Disney College Internship where she learned what goes into creating a magical experience, and now she likes to inject a bit of fairytale magic into all of her events, even if they are a bit darker in color palette or more modern.
In her free time, Cassi she loves to visit new restaurants and breweries in Denver, is continually on the lookout for the next best date night or girls night spot, and is always down for a good night of dancing.
Fave part of a wedding: The party, when a couple really starts to enjoy all the work they put in and spends time with everyone who joined them for their wedding day.

Fun fact: Cassi is Sugar Willow Event’s social media maven, so that’s her handling most of our posts over on Instagram.
Jennifer actually attended several Sugar Willow Events weddings before joining the team. Drawn to the behind the scenes action of each production, she now gets to handle so many of those finishing touches on the big day that really bring the celebration to life. She finds just as much joy being part of these events as she did as a guest attending them. In the office, she’s known for her spreadsheets andcolor coding, two helpful skills when planning any celebration.
When not producing a wedding, she loves to travel and is happiest when breathing in salty sea air. She’s also often up to something new and exciting. She’s currently working towards her scuba certification and recently started to refinish furniture.
Fave part of a wedding: Personalized vows that tell the story of the couple and their love for one another.
Design style: Classic and romantic, but still relaxed.
Fun fact: She has a huge heart for animals and has fostered through a local
Baylee’s had the full Sugar Willow Events experience in that before joining the team, she hired SWE to plan her own wedding. She understands firsthand how overwhelming the planning process can be for couples, as well as how confident she felt going into her big day with a team of kind, talented professionals at the helm. She wants every bride and groom to experience that and for that reason, joined the team. Now she gets to give other couples the weddings of their dreams!
Outside of work, Baylee and her husband love being movie buffs and going to the theatre (where popcorn, candy, and hot dogs are a given), and she’s all about hanging with their German Shepard, Arlo, too.
Fave part of a wedding: the moment a couple first sees one another down the aisle of the ceremony and the looks on their faces. I always get goosebumps.
Design style: edgy and fun with a few quirky elements.
In addition to donating our services to local organizations like Night to Shine, we are passionate about animal rescue, Natasha has volunteered with several rescue organizations and fostered many dogs. Sugar Willow Events proudly donates a percentage of yearly proceeds to local rescues. Find out more about animal rescue through Big Bones Canine Rescue or Paws On the Ground.
In The Press
As a mother of two daughters getting married six weeks apart, I started out on my own with the first wedding. About halfway through I was overwhelmed and admitted I needed help. I hired Natasha from Sugar Willow Events and thank God I did. She helped with everything I hadn’t done and then made everything I did better. I wish I would have hired her sooner! She was so professional and really kept everything on schedule. I would recommend Sugar Willow for any event, and I will use them from now on!
